RETURN POLICY QUESTIONS
All sales are final. Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not offer refunds. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase so returns/exchanges may be accepted under limited circumstances.
Returns can be accepted under limited & exceptional circumstances, which
includes wrong item received or damaged item as a result of quality or craftsmanship. Exchanges can be accepted in the instance that you need a bigger size for a standard, non-custom item. Returns and exchanges are refunded via store credit or gift card. If you believe you have a limited or exceptional circumstance that requires a cash/debit refund, Contact Us for approval.
If you would like to self-serve a return/exchange and receive a store credit that you can use immediately after approval, you must have an account. To access or sign into your Made By Venus account, visit Accounts to sign in. From your account you can submit a return on eligible items in exchange for a store credit. Within 24 hrs of submission, you will be emailed a link with a printable return label to return original product(s).
If you do not wish to create an account, the self-serve option will not be available. Instead you must manually purchase a return label and allow 24-48 hours to be emailed a printable return label and a gift card. Visit Return Label listing to purchase.
** We assess all products for damages prior to shipment & document photo evidence. We do not assume responsibility for items damaged by the carrier. Items damaged by the carrier will require a claim to be filed with the carrier.
You have up to 7 days from the date you received your product to request a return.
Custom made items can not be returned.
If you ordered a 45-inch or a 60-inch Standard Tie-On waistbead and you need a bigger size, you may request an exchange by purchasing a Return Label. Once returned item is received, you will receive a store credit to purchase the correct size.

If you ordered a custom waistbead or a waistbead with a clasp, it is considered a custom item and returns/exchanges cannot be accepted. Please measure your waist to obtain your accurate measurement before purchasing. If you need guidance, refer to How To Measure.

We reserve the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject returns/exchanges from customers at any time due to an irregular or excess return history involving worn, damaged or missing items. Returned items must be unworn and in their original packaging.

We reserve the right to refuse any exchange where the product returned is not in its original condition. We bear the shipping charges for exchange issues that are our fault (i.e. wrong item received or missing items). For all other instances, shipping is the customers or the carriers responsibility.
Please Note: If you fail to enter your correct size option where needed (such as for custom waistbead sizes) you will receive a standard tie-on waistbead size closest to the needed size. I will make the necessary adjustments to compensate you for the oversight, however, We do not have the the time to personally reach out to correct mistakes.
Please make sure you read and follow all order instructions to avoid any oversights. Receiving a lateral item due to not properly following order instructions does not automatically quality you for a 'Wrong Item Received' return/exchange. Therefore, if a replacement or exchange is requested in this instance, shipment both ways will be the buyer's responsibility.
To minimize the need of an exchange or a mistake, before completing your order, make sure you:
- Measure yourself for the correct size.
- Double check to confirm that the correct items and quantities are select.
- Confirm that your mailing address is listed correctly.

Items damaged by the carrier will require a claim to be filed with the carrier. Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item is damaged, customers must Contact Us with a photo assessment of damages.
